Transport.Grodno is a large transport center of Belarus. More than 83 buses are daily sent from the Grodno coach station. There are international routes to various cities of Russia, the Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland.
The railway station meets and dispatches up to 65 trains daily, including those to and from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Minsk, Vilnius, Warsaw, Bialystok and Berlin.
The airport "Obuhovo" is the air gate of Grodno.

It has a modern runway and is capable of accepting any types of planes.                          Public transport in Grodno serves 46 routes with the total length of 542,8 km. It includes 33 bus routes and 13 trolleybus routes. 99 buses and 116 trolleybuses serve these routes daily. Besides, 139 microbuses connect remote city districts on 25 routes.
4 specialized enterprises are engaged in transportation of cargoes (foodstuffs, building materials, other socialy-valued goods) in the regional center. They are: Trucks  and Lorries car park №1, Trucks and Lorries car park №2. Open joint-stock company «Grodno Autotransport Exploitation Enterprise «ATEP», Special Transportation Enterprise  «Grodnoavtospetsavtotrans». 1 mln tons of cargoes was transported by them in 2001, making 19.3% of the all-regional area level.
The location of Grodno promotes the development of transit way, both to the neighbouring countries and far-away foreign ones.
