Educational System
In Grodno Over 69 000 children and teenagers at the age before 18 years, 45 566 from they visit schools, 12 500 preschool institutions. In the city works 152 foundations, concerning with children and teenagers education. Including:
-  32-average educational schools;
-  4-scholastic establishments of new type (Lycee №1, gimnazia №1, school - a lycee №№1, 19);
-  4-for the children with particularities of development (Boarding school for blind children, base school of deaf, school №4 – special grade school for the children with particularities of psychological development);
-  4-establishments for the children-orphans and children, renderred in critical situations (social shelter, orphanage of mixed type, orphanages of household type №№2,3);
-  2-general evening secondary schools;
